Welcome to Genome Canada's funding commitment database. All of Genome Canada's funded projects, initiatives and Genomic Innovation Network Nodes are included in this database. You may query the database and receive detailed reports using one or several of the selection criteria below. Descriptions of each project are also available by clicking on the project titles within your report.

Here are some tips you should review before using the database

The default setting for the selection criteria is the "All" option. You need only change the setting for those criteria that interest you.
Pressing the "Create Report" button without selecting any other criteria will generate a very long report (~30 pages long) which will include all of Genome Canada's funded activities to date. This may take a few minutes to generate - please be patient. Be kind to our forests - don't print long reports unless you are sure they are needed.
The reports are designed to fit on legal-size paper in landscape mode (14" X 11").
The entire width of the report can be viewed with a 19" monitor at a 1024 x 768 setting.
Data is updated on a weekly basis.

Understanding the numbers

Amounts shown for projects and platforms under the Genome Canada Contributions column are the actual amounts disbursed for closed fiscal years and are the approved maximum budgets for the current and future fiscal years.
Yearly amounts are shown by Genome Canada's fiscal year which runs from April 1 to March 31.
The 2005-06 fiscal year includes funding from 2000-01 to 2005-06 since yearly amounts are not available by project/platform until 2006-07.
